Hays Electrical Services recently completed the electrical installation for Texas A&M University–San Antonio Student Housing in San Antonio, Texas. This new development includes two modern suite-style residence halls Esperanza Hall and Estrella Hall totaling approximately 192,660 sq ft and providing 704 student beds across four stories. Our work encompassed full power distribution systems, LED lighting throughout living and communal spaces, emergency and safety circuits, as well as data/power coordination in common areas and lounge spaces. Located on the university’s South Side campus, this project was executed in phases to minimize impact on the occupied campus environment. Key collaboration with architects WestEast Design and contractor Bartlett Cocke ensured seamless integration with the campus masterplan. The result is a robust, code-compliant electrical infrastructure that enhances residential reliability, energy efficiency, and student comfort reinforcing Hays Electrical’s commitment to delivering high-quality solutions for educational facilities.
