New Construction

This nearly 39,000-square-foot facility serves Texas A&M University–Victoria (formerly University of Houston–Victoria) as a central hub for student wellness, recreation, and campus engagement.

The project included the construction of approximately 38,865 square feet of fitness, recreation, academic, and wellness space, featuring a gymnasium, fitness center, indoor walking and running track, multipurpose fitness rooms, locker rooms, administrative offices, academic instruction areas, and integrated health and wellness services. The facility also incorporates healthcare components through DeTar's walk-in health clinic, creating a comprehensive destination for both physical and mental well-being.

Designed to provide approximately 28,671 square feet of indoor recreation and multipurpose academic space, the facility supports a wide range of campus needs while promoting student success, health, and community engagement. The modern center serves as a key campus asset, providing functional, efficient, and welcoming spaces that support fitness, training, wellness services, and student development.
