SCOPE OF WORK
New Construction
Our team at Hays Electrical Services is thrilled to have led the electrical installation for Royal Caribbean International’s innovative new $125 million cruise terminal in Galveston, Texas.
This remarkable facility has set a new standard as the world’s first LEED Zero Energy terminal, meeting 100% of its energy needs with on-site solar panels. The terminal serves Royal Caribbean’s largest cruise ship, the Allure of the Seas, which weighs 225,282 gross tons.
The 161,334-square-foot Galveston terminal began construction on November 17, 2021, and was completed in just one year. This project not only highlights our expertise in electrical installations but also our commitment to sustainable and innovative construction practices.
