This remarkable facility has set a new standard as the world’s first LEED Zero Energy terminal, achieving 100% of its energy needs from onsite solar panels.This terminal, Royal Caribbean’s largest cruise ship, the Allure of the Seas, weighing in at 225,282 gross tons. The 161,334-square-foot Galveston terminal began construction on November 17, 2021, and impressively, was completed in just one year.
